Fully integrated Dual-LIN transceiver complying to LIN specification 2.0, 2.1 and SAEJ2602 with advanced EMI/ESD performance and TXD-dominant time-out function. The device is designed to handle low-speed data communication (down to 1 Kbaud) in vehicles and in convenience electronics. Improved slope control at the LIN bus ensures secure data communication at up to 20Kbaud with an RC oscillator for protocol handling. A sleep mode guarantees minimal current consumption, even in the case of a floating bus line or a short circuit on the LIN bus to GND. The extra-small DFN14 package with only 3mm x 4.5mm with wettable flanks that make solder joints visible and thus enables the use of automated optical inspection (AOI) tools.
