The MPM3801 is an I2C digital output pressure sensor designed for measuring gauge, absolute, and sealed gauge pressures. It features an oil-filled OEM pressure-sensitive element with a stainless steel corrugated diaphragm for isolation, allowing it to measure various fluids accurately. The sensor operates within a pressure range of -100 kPa to 100 MPa and offers a maximum overload capacity of 1.5 times the full scale or 110 MPa. With a 14-bit digital output, the sensor provides a normalized output range from 1638 to 14746, ensuring precise readings. It has a low power consumption of 5 OºA in standby mode and can operate within a temperature range of -20¬8C to 80¬8C. The MPM3801 is suitable for applications requiring low power and high accuracy, with a long-term stability of ¬±0.2% FS per year. It is compatible with various media, provided they are compatible with the materials used in the sensor's construction.
The MPM3801 pressure sensor is with the standard IIC & SPI interface protocol and compact structure, which could be easily integrated into the SCADA or IoT system that requires the low power consumption. The sensor with the piezoresistive chip inside gives outstanding linearity, repeatability and hysteresis. Due to the stainless steel housing and isolated diaphragm, the sensor could be compatible with the various medium.
