The 993A-2 Triaxial accelerometer from Wilcoxon Sensing Technologies features a sensitivity of 100 mV/g with a tolerance of ¬±10% at 25¬8C. It has an acceleration range of up to 50 g peak and a frequency response of 2 to 2,000 Hz across all channels. The device exhibits a maximum amplitude nonlinearity of 1% and a transverse sensitivity of no more than 5% of the axial measurement. Operating within a temperature range of -50¬8C to +120¬8C, the accelerometer is designed for rugged applications, with a vibration limit of 500 g peak and a shock limit of 5,000 g peak. It requires a voltage source of 18 to 30 VDC and a current of 2 to 10 mA. The output impedance is capped at 100 Oc, and the bias output voltage is nominally 12 VDC. The accelerometer is housed in a hardcoated aluminum case and weighs 90 grams, making it suitable for various mounting applications using a 10-32 captive screw. The 993A-2 is internally shielded and case isolated, minimizing electromagnetic interference, with an equivalent noise level of 150 ¬µg at 10 Hz and 0.6 ¬µg/,àöHz at 1,000 Hz. It is compatible with a PC02A-8-4P output connector and is recommended to be used with 4-conductor shielded Teflon¬Æ jacketed cabling for optimal performance.
