MEDITE Group Surethin® Processor

SureThin® is an efficient, thorough cervical smear technique. The easy application results in diagnostically conclusive findings. In addition to the valuable consumables of the SureThin®product line, the SureThin® Processor completes the technical part of the application. The sample vial is placed in the chamber of the SureThin® Processor, along with a filter and microscope slide. A gentle dispersion step thoroughly mixes the cell sample and breaks up blood, mucus and non-diagnostic debris. The cells are then collected on a filter specifically designed to collect diagnostic cells. A thin layer of cells is then transferred onto a glass slide and automatically deposited into a fixative solution. During the process, every current step is displayed on the device‘s screen. The slideable glass front of the SureThin® Processor gives full control and insight into the application to the user.
