Tank/Truck FrameMounting System Permanent . . . Shock Absorbent The McLellan Perma-Slat is made of tough 80-durometer rubber, 7/8" thick and permanently vulcanized to a 1/8" mild steel base. Each unit is 30" long, (for shipping convenience) weighing 6 Ibs.each. They can be easily skip welded or bolted to the sub-frame of the body being mounted. Once in place, these durable Perma-Slats virtually never need replacing, unlike the old wooden boards that become crushed and compacted or rubber belts that slip. This means saving thousands of dollars over the life of the truck (never any waste, 100% reusable).
