High-temperature capacitive proximity sensors with an M18 housing diameter and sensing distance of 1 to 10 mm are designed for non-flush mounting in environments up to +250°C. The sensors feature a stainless steel housing and PTFE sensing face, operate on 4 to 8 V DC, and comply with IP54 protection. A triax FEP sensor cable is used for connection, and the sensor is paired with a DC amplifier operating from 10 to 35 V DC, supporting a maximum output current of 300 mA with reverse polarity and short-circuit protection. Conformity is marked as CE.

The capacitive high-temperature sensors are especially suitable for applications where the sensor head is exposed to a high ambient temperature, or comes directly into contact with hot materials. The units are used as fill level detectors in liquids and bulk goods, or as distance sensors for testing block materials in hot surroundings.
