The High Temperature Inductive Proximity Sensors from Locon Sensor Systems, Inc. are designed for demanding industrial applications. Specifically, the IN10 and IN10 EXT Series sensors feature a sensing distance of 2 mm and operate within a supply voltage range of 10-35 VDC. They can handle load currents of up to 120 mA at temperatures up to 140 ¬8C, with a maximum switching frequency of 800 Hz. These sensors are built to withstand harsh conditions, offering a degree of protection rated at IP67, making them suitable for environments with high humidity and dust exposure. They are vibration resistant to 1 mm amplitude at 55 Hz and shock resistant to 10 g for 11 ms. The sensors also include reverse polarity protection and a built-in load resistor of 100 kOhm. Operating temperatures range from -25 ¬8C to 140 ¬8C, with a storage temperature capability of -25 ¬8C to 80 ¬8C. The sensors are constructed with silicone cables and have a sensing face made of LPC-Vectra material. Special versions, including silicone-free options, are available upon request.
LOCON your reliable choice for high quality inductive sensors
With short circuit and overload protections built in, these sensors are built to last. With additional load resistance and reverse polarity prevention features, and backed by Locon’s quality assurance guarantee, you will be assured these devices will work within spec, even in harsh environments.
Our sensors are also designed with a protection rating (DIN 40 050) of IP67, great for most industrial purposes.
