The MUBW 75-17 T8 is an obsolete three-phase converter, brake, and inverter module integrating a rectifier, brake chopper, and inverter in a single package with Trench IGBT technology for AC motor drives. It features a copper base plate with soldering pins for PCB mounting and includes an NTC temperature sensor. The inverter stage supports up to 1700 V blocking voltage and 113 A continuous collector current, while the brake chopper handles 1700 V and 48 A. The input rectifier is rated for 2200 V peak repetitive reverse voltage and 70 A average forward current. All semiconductor devices are housed in a standardized package with insulated base and thermal resistance values ranging from 0.4 K/W to 0.95 K/W per device. The device is qualified for electric braking and synchronous/asynchronous motor drive applications.
