The MIXA150R1200VA is a 1200 V, 250 A IGBT module in a V1-A-Pack case with a height of 17 mm, designed for boost chopper applications such as AC motor drives, solar inverters, and uninterruptible power supplies. It features a rugged XPT design with short-circuit capability for 10 µs, low gate charge, and a SONIC™ diode with fast and soft reverse recovery. The module has a DCB ceramic base plate, RoHS compliance, and soldering pins for PCB mounting. It supports an isolation voltage of 3600 V~ and operates within a junction temperature range of -40 °C to 150 °C. Thermal resistance from junction to case is 0.16 K/W for the IGBT and 0.28 K/W for the diode.
The build in boost configuration offers a compact solution either in boost (PFC) or brake applications and in combination with buck series a solution for switched reluctance motor drives.
