The IXGT72N60A3 is a 600V punch-through IGBT in a TO-268 surface-mount package, designed for switching applications up to 5kHz such as motor drives, UPS, and PFC circuits. It is rated for 72A continuous collector current at 110°C and 400A pulsed current, with a maximum collector-emitter saturation voltage of 1.35V at 60A and 15V gate drive. The device features a square reverse-bias safe operating area, low gate charge of 230nC, and thermal resistance of 0.15°C/W from case to heat sink. It is qualified to AEC-Q200 and meets UL 94 V-0 flammability rating.
The Littelfuse family of Punch Through (PT) IGBTs exhibit high gain, very fast switching and low conduction losses. They are optimized for higher speed applications up to 100kHz in UPS, Off-line Switching Power Supplies, and Induction Cooking. The G-series is available with or without an integrated Ultrafast FRED diode.
