The IXGT16N170AH1 is a 1700 V NPT IGBT with an integrated anti-parallel sonic diode, housed in a TO-268 package, designed for high-voltage switching applications such as AC motor drives, UPS, and resonant-mode power supplies. It has a continuous collector current rating of 11 A at 90 °C and a pulsed collector current of 40 A. The device features a gate-emitter voltage range of ±20 V continuous and ±30 V transient, with a collector-emitter saturation voltage of 5.0 V maximum at 25 °C and 4.5 V at 125 °C. Thermal resistance junction-to-case is 0.65 °C/W, and it meets UL 94 V-0 flammability standards. The TO-268 package weighs 4 g and supports a maximum junction temperature of 150 °C. Short-circuit withstand time is 10 μs at 1200 V and 125 °C junction temperature.
