The IXGT10N170 is a 1700 V, 10 A NPT IGBT in a TO-268 package, designed for high-voltage switching applications such as AC motor speed control, DC servo drives, UPS, and capacitor discharge circuits. It features a MOS gate turn-on for drive simplicity, a rugged NPT structure, and molding epoxies meeting UL 94 V-0 flammability classification. The device has a collector-emitter saturation voltage of 2.7 to 4.0 V at 10 A and 25°C, a maximum continuous collector current of 10 A at 90°C, and a power dissipation of 110 W at 25°C. Thermal resistance junction-to-case is 1.1 °C/W. Operating and storage junction temperatures range from -55 °C to 150 °C. The TO-268 package weighs 4 g and supports isolated mounting with one screw.
