The IXGR16N170AH1 is a 1700 V NPT IGBT with an integrated anti-parallel sonic diode, designed for high-voltage switching applications such as capacitor discharge circuits, DC choppers, and AC motor drives. It is packaged in an ISOPLUS247TM case with an electrically isolated tab, weighing 5 g. The device has a continuous collector current rating of 8 A at 90°C and a peak collector current of 40 A for 1 ms. Its collector-emitter saturation voltage is 3.5 V to 5.0 V at 8 A and 15 V gate-emitter voltage. Thermal resistance junction-to-case is 1.04 °C/W for the IGBT and 2.3 °C/W for the diode. The device meets UL 94 V-0 flammability requirements and features a direct-copper bond substrate for high power density and low gate drive requirements.
