The IXGP20N120A3 is a 1200V, 20A punch-through IGBT in a TO-220AB package, designed for switching applications up to 3 kHz such as motor drives, UPS, SMPS, and PFC circuits. It features a maximum collector-emitter saturation voltage of 2.5V at 20A and 15V gate-emitter voltage, with a thermal resistance from junction to case of 0.50 °C/W. The device supports a maximum junction temperature of 150°C and is qualified to meet international standard packaging requirements. Mounting torque is specified at 1.13 Nm (10 lb.in.).
The Littelfuse family of Punch Through (PT) IGBTs exhibit high gain, very fast switching and low conduction losses. They are optimized for higher speed applications up to 100kHz in UPS, Off-line Switching Power Supplies, and Induction Cooking. The G-series is available with or without an integrated Ultrafast FRED diode.
