The IXGP20N100 is a 1000 V, 40 A IGBT in a TO-220AB package, designed for high-power switching applications such as AC motor speed control, DC servo drives, and uninterruptible power supplies. It features a collector-emitter saturation voltage of 3.0 V at 25°C, a maximum junction temperature of 150°C, and a power dissipation of 150 W at 25°C. The device has a thermal resistance from junction to case of 0.5 K/W and is mounted with a screw torque of 0.45 Nm. It complies with JEDEC TO-220AB standards, is RoHS compliant, and supports MOS gate drive for simplified control. The package dimensions and mounting footprint are specified for standard PCB layout.

They are optimized for higher speed applications up to 100kHz in UPS, Off-line Switching Power Supplies, and Induction Cooking.
