The IXGP12N120A3 is a 1200V punch-through IGBT in a TO-220AB package, designed for switching applications up to 3kHz in power inverters, UPS, motor drives, and PFC circuits. It has a continuous collector current rating of 12A at 90°C and a pulsed collector current of 60A for 1ms. The gate-emitter threshold voltage ranges from 2.5V to 5.0V, with a typical collector-emitter saturation voltage of 3.0V at 12A and 25°C, rising to 2.75V at 125°C. It features low conduction losses, a thermal resistance junction-to-case of 0.50°C/W, and operates from -55°C to 150°C. The part complies with RoHS standards and is rated for 150°C junction temperature. Mounting torque is specified at 1.13 Nm.
