The IXGA28N60A3 is a 600 V, 28 A collector current PT IGBT in a TO-263 surface-mount package, designed for switching applications up to 5 kHz such as power inverters, motor drives, UPS, and PFC circuits. It has a maximum collector-emitter voltage of 600 V, a saturated collector-emitter voltage of 1.4 V at 24 A and 15 V gate drive, and a continuous collector current rating of 28 A at 110 °C junction temperature. The device features a square RBSOA, low gate drive requirement, and a thermal resistance junction-to-case of 0.66 °C/W.
