The IXA40RG1200DHGLB is an XPT IGBT with an integrated free-wheeling diode and VCEsat detection diode, designed for boost topology applications such as PFC and brake choppers. It is packaged in an SMPD-B surface mount module with a backside DCB ceramic for isolation, measuring 8.5 g in weight. The device supports a collector-emitter voltage of 1200 V and continuous collector current of 61 A at 25°C, with a saturation voltage of 1.8 V to 2.1 V at I_C = 35 A. Total power dissipation is rated at 215 W at 25°C. Thermal resistance from junction to case is 0.58 K/W for the IGBT and 1 K/W for the diode. Isolation voltage is 3000 V~ RMS. The package is RoHS compliant and epoxy meets UL 94V-0.
