The IXA20RG1200DHGLB is an XPT IGBT with integrated free-wheeling diode and Vce(sat) detection diode, designed for boost PFC, brake chopper, and switched reluctance drive applications. It is housed in an ISOPLUS SMPD-B surface mount package measuring 19.0 mm × 13.5 mm, with a backside DCB ceramic isolator and soldering pins for PCB mounting. The device has a 1200 V collector-emitter voltage rating, 32 A continuous collector current at 25°C, and a saturated voltage of 1.8 V to 2.1 V at 15 A. It meets RoHS compliance and the UL 94 V-0 flammability standard. Isolation voltage is 3000 V RMS for 1 second. Thermal resistance is 1.0 K/W from junction to case for the IGBT and 1.35 K/W for the diode. The part supports operation from -55°C to 125°C and storage from -55°C to 150°C.
The build in boost configuration offers a compact solution either in boost (PFC) or brake applications and in combination with buck series a solution for switched reluctance motor drives.
