The C0044BG400 IGBT gate driver is a high-reliability module designed for press-pack IGBTs, featuring a fibre-optic interface for switching commands and status control, a built-in DC/DC converter with soft start, and integrated input filtering for low EMI. It delivers a peak gate current of 44 A with a gate-on voltage of +11.5 V to +15.8 V and a gate-off voltage of -15.8 V to -11.5 V. The driver includes Vce-desat protection with a typical trip level of 25 V, soft switch-off in fault conditions, and active gate clamping during power-up and power-down. All secondary supply voltages are monitored, and the device supports a partial discharge voltage up to 7 kV. Propagation delay is typically 1.4 μs, and coupling capacitance between primary and secondary is 16 to 20 pF. The operating temperature range is -20 to +55 °C.
The C044BG400 IGBT Gate Driver is a low power consumption driver with on board VCE desaturation detection for high reliability application. The driver features a fiber-optic communication interface for drive, status and switching feedback signals. A fully supervised DC/DC converter with EMI filtering, low coupling capacitance and high partial discharge level is integrated into the board. The high voltage collector sense and gate interface are implemented on a separate card to allow close coupling to the IGBT.
