LexJet 6.5 Mil Display Film is a bright-white, high-gloss DuPont Melinex® polyester film with a production-friendly instant-dry coating and a light-blocking layer. This blockout layer keeps the support structure of pop-up and retractable banner stands from showing through when the graphics are displayed.
Images printed on this film look so vibrant and detailed that some professional photographers use this material to make competition prints that resemble Cibachromes.
LexJet 6.5 Mil Gloss Display Film works with either thermal or pressure-sensitive laminating films, but lamination isn’t required if the graphics are for short-term use. An extra-white graphics surface can be achieved when a PreLume® laminating film is applied.
The film is compatible with dye and pigment inks on printers that use thermal or piezo printheads.
