LexJet 10 Mil Display Film is a bright-white, high-gloss DuPont® Melinex polyester film with a production-friendly instant-dry coating and a light-blocking layer. This blockout layer keeps the support structure of pop-up and retractable banner stands from showing through when the graphics are displayed.
Images printed on this film look so vibrant and detailed that some professional photographers use this material to make competition prints that resemble Cibachromes.
LexJet 10 Mil Gloss Display Film works well with many pressure-sensitive laminating films, especially LexJet’s 10 Mil Elite Textured or Elite Polycarbonate laminates. However, lamination isn’t required if the graphics are for short-term use. An especially white graphics surface can be achieved when a PreLume® laminating film is applied.
The film is compatible with dye and pigment inks on printers that use thermal or piezo printheads.
