L-com's IES-Series Industrial Ethernet Switch line offers ease of deployment, cost savings and robust switching. These rugged Industrial Ethernet switches feature a combination of auto-negotiating double or triple speed ports including 10/100TX RJ45, 10/100/1000TX RJ45, 100FX SC, and 1000FX SFP as well as easy to read system status LEDs. These switches are powered by an external 24V DC Industrial Power Supply, (Sold Separately) and feature standard 35mm DIN rail mounting brackets. An IP40 aluminum alloy shell protects the part and the case's ribbed heat-removal design satisfies harsh environment and industrial requirements. The fan-less design greatly extends the mean time between failures (MTBF). The IES-series switches are unmanaged and can be installed in minutes providing industrial network connectivity for myriad applications including industrial automation, factory automation, process control networking and energy network connectivity. They support Ethernet standards such as IEEE 802.3, 802.3u and 802.3ab and compliant devices such as PLC's and media convertors as well as IP enabled meters, valves and drives.
