The 3321 is a Filter from Krohn Hite. Electronic filters perform a variety of signal-processing functions with the purpose of removing a signal’s unwanted frequency components, enhance desired ones, or both. There are many types of electronic test equipment filters, including those that are passive, active, analog, digital, low pass, high pass, linear, and nonlinear. Linear filters are the most commonly used for most electronic equipment applications.
Additional Features:
The Krohn-Hite 3321 Variable Filter is a solid state, variable electronic Filter that is digitally tuned over the range from 0.01 Hz to 99.9 kHz. Its single channel can be operated in either the High-Pass or Low-Pass mode. It has an attenuation slope of 24 dB per octave. The frequency response characteristic of the unit is a fourth-order Butterworth with maximum flatness for cleanest filtering in the frequency domain. For pulse or transient signal filtering, a front panel switch is provided to change the frequency response to RC optimum for transient-free filtering.
