KRA021 is a transmissive optical switch with phototransistor output designed for position detection in copiers, printers, fax machines, VCRs, and CD players. It features a compact package with a 5 mm gap between light emitter and detector, and supports printed wiring board direct mounting with a locating pin. Operates over a temperature range of -30°C to +85°C, with a forward current rating of 30 mA and collector current rating of 50 mA. Compliant with RoHS directives. Rise and fall times are between 15 μs and 50 μs under specified conditions.
