Used to inspect friction between a rotating surface and sheets, the H16 can be used for textile, film and paper measurement, as well as assessing friction and wear characteristics of coated or plated surfaces (on the drum). The sheet of test material is placed over 1/8 to 1/2 of the drum's diameter. A load is applied to the sheet and the other end connected to a strain gauge. When the drum rotates, friction occurs and its resistance is detected and displayed
