The 4730 Series was designed for the customer who desires a manual torque tool which is adjustable externally but still has an overall accuracy of ±5%. These screwdrivers incorporate a bi-directional, ball-type clutch mechanism with a working range of 20-120 in. oz. (0.15-0.9Nm). The mechanism in both tools is automatically reset and smooth in action, this eliminates over-tightening. The tool comes with a 1/4" female hexagon drive. An adapter is available for conversion to 1/4" male square drive (P/N 20191) for use with sockets. These tools are perfect for the engineer who is trying to determine the correct torque values for assembly or prototype work.
