BD2 series electronics are utilized in air bubble or liquid level detection applications, where an open collector output is required. The output signal of a BD2 open collector board can control a switch or relay without the need for PLC signal processing, unlike a TTL signal, which has much lower power. Factory adjustable features on the board help to make it a good candidate for unique applications, which otherwise might present calibration or functional issues. Introtek's patented pulse-type ultrasonic technology provides highly reliable, non-invasive air bubble detection capabilities in the most critical applications where the safety of a patient or process is mandatory. Many of the variables, which can affect performance of amplitude or continuous wave based sensing systems, are eliminated or greatly reduced, thus yielding accurate and repeatable detection.
