The J232 is an N-channel silicon junction field-effect transistor designed for audio amplifier applications, housed in a TO-226AA (TO-92) package with pin configuration: 1-drain, 2-source, 3-gate. It has a reverse gate-source and gate-drain voltage rating of -40 V, a continuous forward gate current of 50 mA, and a power dissipation of 360 mW at 25°C, derating at 3.27 mW/°C. The gate-source cutoff voltage ranges from -3 V to -6 V, the drain saturation current is 5 to 10 mA, and the common-source forward transconductance is 2500 to 5000 µS.
