The newly designed Tramex MRH III is a high performance multifunctional hybrid of the ever popular Moisture Encounter Plus. It operates on the principle of non-destructive impedance measurement. Parallel co-planar electrodes are mounted on the base which, during operation, transmit a low-frequency signal into the material under test. To carry out moisture tests simply press the MRH III firmly against the surface being tested and take a reading. There is no surface damage and the reading is immediate. The MRH III has 5 different measurement scales: Wood, Roofing, Masonry, Drywall and laminate. It reads percentage of moisture in wood with adjustable specific gravity settings from 0.3 to 0.8. All other building materials are read on a comparable scale. The MRH III can be purchased separately and accessories can be added in the future.

for the which includes the meter, temperature and relative humidity probe, hand held electrode, hammer electrode, infrared surface thermometer and carrying case. Or, for the Flooring Master Inspectioon Kit () which includes the MRH 111, CME 4 (TR125), temperature and relative humidity probe, hand held electrode, hammer electrode, infrared surface thermometer and carrying case. Features
Non-destructive moisture detection and measurement on a wide range of construction materials
Deep signal penetration up to 1.25 “ (30mm) to detect elevated moisture through most covering materials such as Porcelain or Ceramic tile, Drywall, Carpet, Vinyl Flooring, VCT tile, Floor Laminates, Wall Coverings, Roofing Membranes without having to damage or puncture the material being tested
External Rubber electrodes in direct contact with material being tested for best sensitivity, repeatability and greater depth of signal penetration
Wide range of readings for wood of 3 to 40% on wood scale and 0 to 99 on comparative scale for other materials
Easy to read display giving meaningful readings
Hold function enables user to “freeze” the reading, useful when taking readings where the meter face may not be visible
