The IRS21856S is a high-voltage gate driver with a dual-mode high-side driver and a low-side driver, designed for MOSFET and IGBT control in half-bridge configurations. It is packaged in a 14-lead SOIC narrow body and supports up to 600 V floating supply voltage. The device features programmable ramp slope control via external R/C components, under-voltage lockout for both VCC and VBS, and 5 V logic input compatibility. It has a typical output current of 0.5 A, propagation delays of 160 ns, and a slew rate of 4.5 V/μs.
