IRFY440C is a 500V N-channel HEXFET power MOSFET in a TO-257AA (Y-PAK) hermetically sealed ceramic package with ceramic eyelets, designed for high-reliability applications including defense and space systems. It has a maximum continuous drain current of 7.0A at 25°C, a maximum on-state resistance of 0.85 Ω at VGS = 10V, and a power dissipation rating of 100W at TC = 25°C. The device features isolated mounting for direct heatsinking, a junction temperature range of -55°C to 150°C, and a single pulse avalanche energy rating of 510 mJ. It meets JEDEC TO-257AA outline specifications and is qualified for high-reliability environments.
