The IRFR7440PbF is a 40V N-channel MOSFET designed for high-current switching applications such as motor drives, synchronous rectification, and DC/DC converters. It is housed in a D-PAK package with a continuous drain current rating of 90A limited by the package and 180A limited by silicon, a maximum on-resistance of 2.4mΩ at 10V gate drive, and a power dissipation of 140W. The device features a robust avalanche energy rating of up to 160mJ, low gate charge of 89nC, and is RoHS compliant with no lead, bromide, or halogen.
