The IPA50R280CE is a 500V CoolMOS™ CE power MOSFET in a PG-TO-220 FullPAK package, designed for cost-sensitive applications in consumer and lighting markets. It features a maximum drain-source voltage of 550V, a maximum on-resistance of 0.28 Ω, and a continuous drain current of 18.1 A at TC=25°C. The device supports a pulsed drain current of 42.9 A, has a gate charge of 32.6 nC, and provides high commutation ruggedness. It is qualified for standard grade applications, with a thermal resistance from junction to case of 4.11 °C/W and an operating temperature range from -40°C to 150°C. The package is Pb-free and halogen-free.
