BCV28 is a PNP silicon Darlington transistor for general audio frequency applications, rated for a collector-emitter voltage of 30 V and a continuous collector current of 500 mA, with a peak collector current of 800 mA and total power dissipation of 1 W. It is packaged in an SOT89 surface-mount case, with a junction temperature rating of 150 °C and thermal resistance from junction to soldering point of 20 K/W. The device has a minimum DC current gain of 4000 at 10 µA collector current and 1 V collector-emitter voltage, rising to 20000 at 100 mA, and a collector-emitter saturation voltage of up to 1 V at 100 mA collector current and 0.1 mA base current. It is RoHS compliant and qualified to AEC-Q101.
