Hobart Brothers, an ITW Company Low Alloy Electrodes S126144-035

Description
Brand HOBART® Category Low Alloy Electrodes Description Outstanding welding electrode for higher strength steels with tensile strengths greater than 80,000 pounds. The coating is specially formulated to resist moisture pick-up under conditions of high heat and humidity. The electrode offers resistance to moisture absorption which helps prevent hydrogen cracking and aids in elimination of starting porosity. This is the same as Hoballoy 8018B2 with the exception that this is a low carbon grade electrode. Applications Single and multiple pass, DCEP, AC Industries Fabrication and maintenance of boilers and associated piping. Such steels as 1-1/4Cr-1/2Mo and 1/2Cr-1/2Mo are suited for this electrode. AWS E8018-B2L H4R/E7018 B2L H4R
