Roadway and Bridge Grating was first installed in 1932 by Harsco Industrial IKG (IKG) on Seattle’s University Bridge. IKG’s roadway and bridge grating meets AASHTO criteria. With excellent lateral stability, it is ideally suited for rolling and turning wheel loads, bridges and bascule lift spans. The cold driven rivets do not fatigue under vibration as do welded joints. The RW product is our standard bridge and roadway decking, providing maximum strength and rigidity. Available in Carbon Steel and High Strength Steel. Note: The painted finish is one shop coat of water-based black or gray paint to protect during transit and is not considered a finished coat.
