T-Flex® floor shielding tiles provide economical and ergonomic radiation attenuation for applications such as dry cask platforms, scorpion platforms, refuel bridges, and RCP platforms. Each tile combines tungsten, bismuth, or iron composite material with a durable, non-slip diamond tread surface and can be field-cut for custom fitting. Attenuation ranges from 18% to 41% depending on material and areal density, with thicknesses between 0.375″ and 1.475″ and areal densities of 10, 15, or 20 lb/ft².
Designed to provide economical and ergonomic solutions for shielding sources below. Each tile combines the attenuation properties of T-Flex® with the durability of a work mat. They also can be cut for in field adjustments. The floor shielding features a non-slip diamond tread surface.
