The strength of Harsco Industrial IKG (IKG) Heavy Duty Aluminum Plank grating comes from the bearing bars. The cut-out portions of the surface provide passage for heat, light and air, but do not reduce the load bearing capacity of the flooring. Aluminum Plank Grating provides a flush walking surface and high strength to weight ratio. Its architectural appearance and low maintenance makes it ideal for many applications. Aluminum Plank Grating is available from IKG in punched and unpunched configurations and can be cut at the job site as needed, or IKG will fabricate it to your requirements.
An upset punched 19/32" square opening for increased skid resistance resulting in a 22.3% open area.
Available in Aluminum at ¾”, 1”, 1-1/4”, 1-1/2”, 1-3/4”, 2”, 2-1/4”, and 2-1/2” depths. Features
Manufactured to NAAMM standards
Available in various depths with 6” wide extrusion and up to 24’ in length
Can be assembled into wider sections by welding or mechanical stitching
Meets U.S. military specifications MIL-G-1805 Types II and IV for shipboard use
Advantages
