ESDU 85030 presents notation for axes, linear and angular displacements, and for aerodynamic, powerplant, and ground- related forces and moments for use in ground performance calculations. It provides a comprehensive basis for constructing equations of motion for a wide range of aircraft and manoeuvres. Components of aerodynamic, powerplant, and tyre-ground forces and moments are tabulated for several axes systems. To clarify the presentation, powerplant (including vectored thrust and propellers) and tyre-ground forces and moments are represented diagrammatically.
