The incremental encoder ROP520 from ifm electronic with a hollow shaft open to one side (diameter 12 mm) can be installed directly on the drive. The magnetic detection system and the resolution of 1-10,000 pulses ensure the highest measurement accuracy. The output function can be switched between HTL and TTL (50 mA). In addition, via the function keys and the display you can program the resolution, direction of rotation and additional functions such as speed monitoring or pre-set counter locally at the incremental encoder ROP520. The robust stainless steel housing has a protection rating of IP65/IP66/IP67 and IP64 on the shaft side. The connection is via an 8-pole M12 connector which is both radially and axially usable. For communication interface, IO-Link 1.1 is available (must purchase 103210 adapter cable in addition to programming cable for IO-Link programming).
