Use medium-duty lubricant Vanishing Compound™ 40 for metal forming applications when no oil film is permissible. The film left by Vanishing Compound 40 evaporates slowly, leaving a microscopically thin oil layer with excellent lubricating properties. Aqueous or solvent-based cleaners will remove residual coating from parts requiring complete removal of film.
