The SD5600 and SD5610 series, from Honeywell, are a family of optoschmitt detectors. They are in TO-46 metal can packages with a domed top lens for a narrow viewing angle of 6°. The SD5600 and SD5610 photodetectors consist of a photodiode, amplifier, voltage regulator, schmitt trigger and an NPN transistor.
