The HellermannTyton sleeving, part number 10M9177, is made from a specially formulated polychloroprene rubber compound, providing excellent elastomeric properties. It is designed for binding cable harnesses, accommodating a high degree of expansion, specifically up to five times its diameter during fitting and two times in service. This product is suitable for various applications, including aerospace, automotive, construction, consumer electronics, defense, mass transit, and telecommunications. The continuous operating temperature range is from -65 ¬8C to +95 ¬8C, with an intermittent temperature tolerance of up to +120 ¬8C. The sleeving has a flammability rating of HB according to UL 94 and demonstrates good resistance to acids, alkalis, oils, fuels, moisture, UV, and ozone. It has a proof voltage of 4KV and a volume resistivity of 10^{12} ,Ѷcm. The product is RoHS compliant and has a shelf life of 7 years at temperatures below 40 ¬8C.
