The next generation of open-frame DC/DC power modules is now available in the new EQD series dc-dc converter. Designed to support a 3:1 input voltage range that will provide for operation in 24V or 48V nominal input voltage systems, these modules eliminate the need for separate power modules to handle the two input voltage ranges. They operate over an input voltage range of 18 to 60Vdc, thus providing a single precisely regulated output. Conveniently packaged in an industry standard eighth brick package, the converter is designed to provide up to 20A output current that is isolated from the input, allowing versatile polarity configurations and grounding connections. As an added bonus, built-in filtering for both input and output minimizes the need for external filtering.
