The nondestructive Concrete Moisture Encounter measures moisture content using impedance measurements from electrodes located on the base of the meter. The Model HM-668A offers instant and accurate results. The Encounter is user calibrated at the start of each use. A pointer on the analog display moves to the calibration mark for accurate repeatable readings. After calibration, the meter is pressed firmly onto concrete, cement, or gypsum surface. The electrodes make contact, and the analog display shows readings of 06% moisture in concrete or 010% moisture in gypsum.
