Frontier's MCM and SCM series of SMD Common Mode Chokes are used for EMI filtering without filtering performance degradation at high DC currents. This is accomplished by winding both line and neutral around a single core. This causes the unwanted or common mode noise to have a high impedance at the unwanted freqeuncies.
