Freudenberg Sealing Technologies X-Rings Static Seals

In regard to handling and application, Dichtomatik X-rings are similar to O-rings, but have a higher stability due to their X structure. They are double-acting four-lip seals with a practically square cross-section profile. The X-rings achieve their sealing effect when built and pressed into an axial or radial installation space. During operation, the media pressure reinforces the sealing function.

USIT rings are used for industrial applications in which high seal tightness is required, high pressure predominates and a secure sealing effect must be guaranteed, for example, in the processing, food or pharmaceutical industries. The USIT rings of Freudenberg Sealing Technologies are metallic flat seals with an internally or externally vulcanised, trapezoidal, rubber-elastic sealing bead for the static sealing of screw and flange connections. The sealing bead guarantees a safe, self-reinforcing sealing effect.

Clamp seals from Freudenberg Sealing Technologies guarantee a fast and especially secure pipe connection in continually operated equipment. They are nonetheless easy to separate and stand out for their especially easy installation. The dimensions are standardized according to DIN 32676, and, as a result, the seals are standardized and thus especially economical and available from stock. As materials, Freudenberg Sealing Technologies recommends 70 EPDM 291, 70 VMQ 117055, Fluoroprene XP 41 and 70 EPDM 253815 (white).

The back rings of Freudenberg Sealing Technologies supplement and back up the O-ring. They act as a supporting element to prevent gap extrusion in radially sealing ISC O-rings. By expanding the use of O-rings to various shapes, back seals protect O-rings against damage.

The flange seals of Freudenberg Sealing Technologies are static compact seals for high-maintenance hydraulic applications. Thanks to the optimised design of the sealing edges (distribution of tension), the flange seals have a firm seat in the installation space.
