Working Surfaces
Cutting and piecing should be done before applying adhesive. Surfaces to be bonded should be clean, dry and free from oil and grease or any other material that may deter adhesion. Apply enough adhesive to hold cove base in place without causing squeeze-out. Press the cove base firmly and uniformly against the wall within 5-10 minutes after applying adhesive. Irregular or curved wall surfaces may require bracing until adhesive has set.
Maximum Coverage
Approximately 15-25 linear feet when used with 4" cove base.
Cleanup
Tools and excess adhesive may be cleaned with water while the adhesive is wet. If dried, tools and adhesive may be cleaned with mineral spirits or equivalent solvent. Follow solvent vendor's precautions when using solvents. NOTE: Test solvent on an out-of-the-way area to make sure it will not mar or attack the surface.
GREENchoice Professional Cove Base Adhesive is not designed for continuous submersion. When applying over paint, wallpaper, ceramic tile or other non-porous materials, ""roughing up"" the area by sanding or scraping will increase bond strength. For best results, store adhesive above 40°F.
