The S3843 is a 2-wire DC inductive proximity sensor with an adjustable operating distance of 10 to 60 mm, offering a normally closed (NC) output. It operates on a 10-55 Vdc power supply, with a maximum switching current of 100 mA and a minimum switching current of 1.5 mA. The sensor includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection, an LED function indicator, and a protection rating of IP67. It has a plastic case, non-flush mounting, an operating temperature range of -25 to 70 °C, and a 2-meter PVC cable output. Repeatability is ≤3 % and hysteresis is <10 % at Sn = 50 mm.
